My Story
Hi there! I'm Erin Conrad, and I've had quite an adventure getting to where I am today! I grew up under the warm Arizona sun in Scottsdale, and my musical journey began in third grade when my mom (bless her heart!) steered me toward the violin instead of the cello—which would've been quite a workout to carry around!

From the very first note, I was smitten with the violin! My enthusiasm caught my teacher's eye, and she suggested I take private lessons. That's how I met my amazing mentor, Dr. Carolyn Broe, who guided me through my musical journey. Thanks to her incredible teaching, I achieved some pretty exciting milestones—joining Paradise Valley Community College in sixth grade and becoming concert master in seventh grade!

Life had different plans for me though! Despite my love for music (and my mom's hopes for my musical future), I felt called to serve my country and joined the Marine Corps after high school. Though my military journey was shorter than expected—about two years before a knee injury led to an honorable discharge—it shaped who I am today.

After hanging up my uniform, I tried my hand at different jobs while searching for my true calling. Then came a beautiful twist of fate! Through my local church, I met the lovely Nicki Park. While she was helping me with my resume, I casually mentioned my violin background. Her eyes lit up as she shared that she owned a music studio and was looking for a violin teacher—talk about perfect timing!

And that's how my wonderful journey in music education began in 2014!
